Dash ala Amazing Race!

One of my greatest dream is to play the Amazing Race.
For those who have no idea what Amazing Race is.. its a reality show where 12 teams of 2 will race around the world; there will be eliminations, challenges, and pit stops.. the first team to make it at the last pit stop wins the race.
Well.. my dream is impossible, since those who can only join the contest are american citizens.. huhuhu..
but hey… last monday (July 23, 2007), ABS-CBN and McDonald’s Corporation held its first ever "Mac Tonight, Mad Dash" Race Contest.. kinda similar to the Amazing Race. Well, no.. am not a participant, am one of the segment producer. Uhm.. lucky enough to experience the thrills and venture ala Amazing Race.

The 27 teams including 3 celebrity couples, who participated in the event, raced around Metro Manila to visit 24 chains of the participating 24 hour McDonald’s store.
The event started at 11pm in las piñas, and ends in quezon avenue the other night. Contestants are not allowed to ride private vehicles and taxis.. meaning, we(me, teams, cameraman, asst. cameraman, event marshall) rode other means of transportation like.. bus, mrt, tricycle, jeepney, and the famous "padyak"! hehe..
Its definitely an unforgettable experience to me.. i don’t mind my leg-muscle aching, coz at that time what’s important to me is to be with the team wherever they go.
Ang saya talaga! hehe..
